Backup is important for both SharePoint and Office 365, but each will require a slightly different approach
Moving to Office 365 doesn’t mean that you no longer have to create backup or recovery plans. It means that your plans, methods and workflows need to change to account for Office 365 storage in SharePoint Online, SharePoint on-prem and OneDrive for Business.
Choosing the right backup solution not only helps recover content when a user needs it but also gives admins the power to access documents if systems go down. Regardless of the storage you plan to use, you should have a clear backup plan before moving to a new storage solution and a second plan to manage backup and recovery activities once that solution is in place.
On this webinar, Paul LaPorte covers:
- Challenges and limitations with existing backup solutions
- How to leverage granular recovery as an integral part of day-to-day administration
- Options and trade offs when implementing granular recovery on-prem versus Office 365
- How to maximize backup solutions with granular recovery without disrupting existing backup practices
